Sarah van Winkel is a new member of the PCMA and BC Chapter Leadership Committee.
Sarah is currently Vice President, Corporate Finance with MNP. Based out of the Vancouver office, Sarah works closely with her clients to provide due diligence and transaction-related services, helping clients minimize challenges and achieve their goals.
Sarah has previously worked within banking and assurance. She draws on a diversity of experience with a broad range of industries and sectors, including agriculture, forestry, oil and gas, manufacturing, retail, hospitality and financial services, among others.
Sarah provides guidance to clients with a wide range of business types and ownership structures, to ensure they are positioned to maximize opportunities as they arise. She’s worked with both private and public companies, from small firms to large, international corporations, and investment holding companies.
Sarah qualified as a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) with the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants in 2012 and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) in Canada. She graduated from Nelson Mandela University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com. Rationum) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in 2008.
Born and raised in South Africa, Sarah emigrated from Cape Town to Vancouver in 2017. Outside of work, she can be found enjoying the outdoors with her husband and two adopted furkids.
