PCMA Co-founder and director David Brown to grace at the 20th CPES

WeirFounds Partner and PCMA co-founder and director David S. Brown will be giving the opening remarks at the 20th Annual Canadian Private Equity Summit (CPES) on November 29,  2018 at One King West, Toronto, Ontario.

Brown will co-chair the annual event, which has been known as the only dedicated private equity occasion. With the help from institutional investors, the summit aims to provide an avenue for LPs and GPs to join forces in addressing critical issues and collaborate on innovations in private equity.

Some of the event’s featured speakers include Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec vice president and head, direct private equity – Americas François Boudreault, Apollo Global Management senior partner for private equity Matthew Nord, and HOOPP Capital Partners managing partner Jim Walker.

Part of the event is the Canadian Private Equity Gala Dinner, an exclusive annual event for senior industry executives. For this year, the dinner will feature two speakers for the Gala Dinner Fireside Chat: Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan senior managing director, and head of private capital Jane Rowe and The Carlyle Group co-chief executive officer Glenn Youngkin.
